Method of operation of FondsDok
FondsDok manages the communication between all persons involved in Funds reports. For each element of the publication, e.g. text for investment policy, the program sets up a customizable cycle:
- Once an author released a text, he changes the status from "write" in "proof". The auditor receives an information via eMail, that the text has to be proofed. When he logs on to the FondsDok system, his revision list shows him what else he has to edit.
- If the auditor wants to add comments, he writes them into the PDF and changes the status to "refuse". The author will receive an eMail informing him that he has to revise something.
- If the auditor accepts the changes, he can set the status to "release" and the element is released for publication. This process is also valid for external auditors.
- Changes in content and status are documented in the log. Therefore you can trace them at any time. Moreover in case of changes, FondsDok creates a new version, so that the changes can be traced in the log.

After all elements of a publication are released, FondsDok automatically creates PDFs in your Corporate Design as preprint step for the printer and for the Internet. Additionally you can provide the data via
XML-Export/Interface to the German Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger).
Additionally, single elements of your funds publications can be used to create new obligatory
reports. This is helpful for country-specific adaptations including only certain funds out of your
range.
Or you create a new publication on the basis of an existing one:
country-specific
adaptations, customized reports, trade reports.
